You can bring your own camper or sleep in a unique cabin: in a glass house, a tiny house, a hot pink caravan, a boat or even a vault. Attention: these cabins are not heated!

Start your day with breakfast in the shared (and heated) living room, before you head to Rotterdam Change Days. An overnight stay at De Buitenkans is back to basics, but with character.

Hotel Bazar is probably one of the funkiest hotels in Rotterdam, located in Rotterdam’s cultural district, in one of its coolest and liveliest streets, Witte de Withstraat. The hotel rooms are decorated in Oriental and African styles. And the hotel restaurant is renowned for its oriental kitchen and lively atmosphere. Hotel Bazar also offers cheaper one person rooms.

Hotel New York is located in the former office building of the Holland America Line. It was also used as temporary accommodation for European migrants in the late 19th and early 20th century. The Holland America Line facilitated the migration of millions of Europeans to the United States. The hotel ooses history, is very stylish and has a very atmospheric restaurant. Even if you don’t stay here, it is worth a visit for its history, architecture and vibrant surroundings.

Hotel Mate Bruno is a boutique hotel on the lively Kop van Zuid and near funky Katendrecht. It ishoused in a gorgeous former tea warehouse belonging to the Dutch East India  Company. This four-storey building offers views of the River Maas and had been beautifully renovated.

Citizen M is a trendy hotel just next door to the famous Rotterdam attractions Markthal and the Cube Houses. If you arrive on time at the hotel you can get a room on the Southside with a great view of the old harbour and the attractive Calex Building – the first skyscraper of Rotterdam 125 years ago. The building was designed by architect W. Molenbroek on behalf of the Rotterdam business brothers Schuijt. One of the brothers, Gerrit, had travelled to New York in 1894 and had been inspired by its tall buildings.

Hotel Nhow is a design hotel on the lively Kop van Zuid and near funky Katendrecht. It is located in the ‘De Rotterdam’, designed by the famous Dutch architect (from Rotterdam) Rem Koolhaas/OMA. The hotel boasts the most amazing views of Erasmus Bridge and the northern ank and skyline of Rotterdam.
