Marry Your Self with Jester of the Peace

Facilitated by Barbara Ann Michaels, Jester of the Peace, USA

What do you love… about yourself? In this playful and meaningful experience, symbolically marry anything about yourself, whether your whole self or an aspect of yourself that’s important to you. Affirm how far you have come or start a new chapter. Declare your devotion to your creativity, your courage or your daily commitment to coffee, and more. We’ll enjoy a guided proposal, ceremony and reception. This group celebration will inspire you forward. Congratulations!

Embrace your clown superpowers

Facilitated by Caroline Dream, a professional clown, world-wide clown trainer and author of two authoritative clowning manuals, The Clown In You & Clown Yourself.

Every time we put on our red noses (either literally or symbolically), we submit ourselves to a vigorous shakedown. Released from the constraints of “who we believe ourselves to be”, all the different facets of our personality bubble to the surface, eager to be seen. Many of these facets (often the more extrovert, creative and crazy ones) have been restrained or suppressed since childhood. It’s like opening a door within ourselves so that we can see our true superpowers. This is a fun-filled, active workshop where shared laughter, authenticity and playfulness will lead to discovery and deep understanding.

#play14 movement: Play Manifesto

Facilitated by Manolo Lopez, director of Madrid #play14 movement

Manolo leads you through a #Play14 experience where you feel free to be you. Motivation leads to habits sticking, but without joy, motivation drops. Here, we see how we can add more play into our lives to reward ourselves when we make those hard habit changers. Manolo will introduce two Play communities to you and share the Play Manifesto. Enjoy!

Inclusion and safety begins with you

Facilitated by Jan Keck

Include & Engage the Quiet Ones: How often have you led a workshop or session, and found it difficult to keep everyone engaged – especially the quiet, reserved and introverted participants? In this workshop, you’ll learn my his step-by-step methodology to make the most of every voice in the room, ensuring that even the quietest participants feel heard and valued. This balances the voices of all participants, ensuring that loud participants don’t take over the meeting, while also helping shy participants find their voice. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be confident to create a space where everyone feels invited to share their ideas and perspectives, leading to a more productive, inclusive and engaging experience for all.

Jan Keck is a trainer, facilitator and experience designer. There’s nothing that breaks his heart more than witnessing individuals trapped in awkward icebreakers, feeling more isolated despite being in a group. This is why he is currently dedicating his time and energy into writing his first book “Ice Melters”, where he advocates to ditch traditional Ice Breakers and shares his framework to increase engagement, build trust and foster deep connections – without making people cringe.

Live a joyful life through voice work

Facilitated by Cynthia Zhai

Voice work is a process of non-striving. The best voice comes with the least effort. Working on your voice cultivates the attitude of non-striving. Voice work is a process of letting go. The best voice comes from letting go of the breaths. Voice work is a process of allowing the best voice to emerge when you’ve created the most conducive environment in your body.

OPEN SPACE WORKSHOPS

Open space technology (OST) is a method for organizing where participants are invited to focus on a specific, important task or purpose. The agenda and location is created on the day, and any participant can give a session. The open format encourages out-of-the-box thinking

The principles are: Whoever comes is the right people. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have. Whenever it starts is the right time. When it is over, it is over. These participants below are inviting you, and on the day you can spontaneously offer your session too.

These are our trainers, coaches, and facilitators who will deliver a 1-hour session during Saturday or Sunday’s Open Space.

Your poster could be here!

Take 3 minutes to describe the workshop you plan to deliver in 1 hour on either Saturday or Sunday.
