The Berlin Change Days have been for many of us an important source of inspiration and connectedness. They expanded from Berlin to Toronto, Australasia, the Alps and now to Barcelona. The gatherings shape us as change professionals – and yet what is more essential: they impact us deeply as human beings in change.
In these times, when we experience a constant feeling of crisis and insecurity, when our societies are longing for stability and safety, we believe it is even more so important to meet and benefit from our collective wisdom on change, to learn new practices and grow the community.
I am an Island – I am no Island! Let’s build a ship together so we can navigate together through rough waters and make sure that we do not lose direction in difficult circumstances.

Our Venue
Situated on the southern edge of Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport, the campus of Berliner Union Film Ateliers (BUFA) has been a key part of Berlin’s film and television industry since its first buildings were constructed over a century ago. Now, BUFA is expanding its user base beyond filmmakers to encompass all forms of ‘change makers’, including organisations and individuals with a focus on activism and social justice – catalysed by a sustainable transformation of its physical spaces to become Atelier Gardens.
