SUMMARY:Jillian Reilly - Your Body is your Permission Slip
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop Jillian Reilly will explore her concept of Ten Permissions through the body. The Ten Permissions are ten specific ways to reimagine navigating adult life in the chaos of the 21st century. \nIn this workshop she will work with participants to explore how they can experience those permissions by exploring intuition\, sensation and emotion. Themes that cut through the permissions include desire and deviance\, conflict and risk\, lightness and creation – all central to the task of exploring the unimaginable. \nParticipants will move through a series of exercises from story and body mapping\, posing\, intentional movement with partners\, and creating physical permission slips in order to connect with the lived experience of permission and injunction\, of ‘getting into trouble’\, of making change and stepping into the unimaginable. \nParticipants will take away a better understanding of the stories they carry in their bodies and how they contribute to self limiting and resistance to change\, and how engaging with the body can unlock permission into new and meaningful creative spaces.
