Tom Marshall – Active Hope: Honoring our Pain for the World

November 8 @ 11:30 - 13:00

Often we feel like we are drowning in our grief for the world – because mostly we mourn alone. And mourning is much easier to bear if you do it in community. In this workshop by Tom Marshall participants will experience a grief circle. This experience nurtures the participant’s capacity to feel, which Tom thinks is essentially while At Work In The Ruins to stay in connection with ourselves and thus with each other.

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Develop personal resilience and agency in taking action in a time of crisis.
  • Reconnect with themselves, trusting that they’re doing enough as change makers and that we are inherently enough as beings.
  • Enhance a sense of peace with the external reality of our meta crises, using this grounding as a foundation for sustainable action.
  • Connect with fellow change makers in a wholesome, heart-felt way, supporting each other on our journeys. Feeling seen & heard.
